5, Reader/Writers or Listener/Watchers
Student's no longer sit with a book in their hand. Reading is a thing of the past. The new generation of student's are listeners and watchers. The new student now listens to his/her music while watching the video. This is a new approach to learning that can be implemented into the classroom. Teaching needs to evolve with the student.
4. Let's Find Out
In today's classroom teacher's never have to say I don't know. It is simple to go to the computer and find out. Involving the student with finding the answer is a great teaching tool. Student's remember better when they can find it themselves. Information is now at their fingertips.
3. Blogs
Teaching student's to create their own Blog is a great class activity. A classroom Blog project will give student's the opportunity to view and share each others work. They can make comments and add information. By adding links to their Blog they can access websites and find more educational information for completing class projects and reports.
1.Google Tools
Google offers teacher's and students many tools and gadgets to use in the classroom and at home. Documents that are created and saved can be accessed from anywhere. Teacher's can prepare power-point presentations with ease. Other tools include word processing, spreadsheets and form building.
